SOMA Studio has purchased a small building in the Junction Triangle area of downtown Toronto. The property measures approximately 24 feet x 120 feet and consists of a large garage 26 feet x 20 feet, an outdoor space of 40 feet x 24 feet, and the main building 24 feet x 53 feet. We suspect the original construction date of the building to be the late 1930's and will be able to confirm that through the historical records department of the city of Toronto.Our design concept for this project is to create a single family two-storey living space in the main building. The outdoor space will be converted to a garden with a new coach house on top of the two car garage.
As of today, we are working on design concept drawings of all floors, and coach house as we wait for our closing date of November 30, 2009.
